The VMPA serves to support the music department students and activities by helping with fundraising efforts throughout the year.
In addition to these department events and fundraisers, the Vanier Music Parents' Association annually offers a $1,000 bursary to a deserving student who is continuing their music education at the post secondary level. A separate fundraiser to support this bursary occurs each fall with an updated program cover for our concerts featuring advertisements from local businesses.

How you can get involved
- Attend our monthly VMPA meetings- these meetings are held on a monthly basis in the music room at G.P. Vanier. The meetings will happen the 3rd Thursday of every month with the first meeting on Sept 19th/24 @ 6-7 pm 2)
- Volunteer for our fundraising events throughout the year – We are taking on many fundraising events this year, that will benefit our Vanier music students as well as the Vanier music department.
- Join our Facebook page - G.P. Vanier's Music Parents Association for updates and information regarding upcoming fundraising events.
