West Coast Jazz Festival - April 30 OR May 1, 2024
Affiliated with MusicFest Canada, this festival takes place at Vancouver Island University (Nanaimo).

This dedicated group of students rehearses twice a week:
Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 7:30 - 8:45 a.m.

The Jazz Band will be attending their first festival in the 2023/24 season since spring of 2018!
Be ready to start rehearsal at 7:30 am - we have lots to discuss and plan!

Homewood Retreat 2019
September 24-25 (Tuesday/Wednesday)
CHAPERONES REQUIRED
Please contact Mrs. Livingstone if you are able to be a chaperone for our end of September overnight trip Homewood Retreat.
We require one male and one female chaperone to accompany us on this trip - Bonus Points for current have First Aid Certification!
This retreat includes: accommodation, ferry, bus ride from ferry terminal to Camp Homewood, instrument transportation, team building activities (ropes/obstacle courses, archery, riflery, canoeing, fireside games), 3 meals and of course - rehearsals!
Not included: Tuesday bag lunch, transportation to Campbell River-Quadra Ferry terminal, sleeping linens (aka sleeping bag required!)
RETREAT FEE - Due SEPTEMBER 17th
$75 per student plus $12 if they wish to sign up for Horse Back Riding.
